Tessa is a queer artist creating cute cat themed ceramics. They currently live and work in Vancouver, British Columbia, and can sometimes be found working behind the counter at Kingsmill Studio Shop on Granville Island.
Coming from the flat prairies of Saskatchewan, Tessa journeyed to Vancouver in 2012, and attended Emily Carr University. During this time, they also apprenticed  under the Poplar Studio, and worked at Catfé - Vancocuvers first Cat Cafe. In combining their love of clay and cats, Tessaramics was born! After graduating with a BFA in 2017, they journeyed to Nova Scotia and built their business for 3 years before returning to the West Coast late 2021 to continue to pursue their dreams.
Vancouver is located on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
