Standing at about 9 cm tall and 10 cm wide, this cute planter is purrfect for any small plant or succulent you'd like to live in it!
Each piece is wheel thrown out of a speckled stoneware. After setting up and becoming leather hard, they are trimmed and the ear silhouette cut out from the rim. Next, the hole for the plant along with a drainage hole is cut into the planter. The face is hand painted with underglaze before going into the kiln, and it's glaze fired with a strong white food safe glaze.
This one has two spots of blue drippy glaze as 'tears', so sad lookin!
